I take each set of clothes....pants, top, jewery, whatever and fold it the width of the suit caseand lay it flat. You cannot believe how much you can pack. I pack 3-4 outfits this way. I am a retired elementary teacher. I spend four hours a day seven days a week at my small town public library. Most of my day I spend at the computer. I am annoyed everyday with students being tutored in math and reading. The tables are five feet in back of the computer section. The testers act as though they are in a clroom rather a library. They speak in normal tones and and it is very disturbing to those near. The teachers seem to think they are above the other patrons.Besides the tutoring, when the parents come to pick up their children, they discuss the progress made that day. I have been gone from here for a while and now am back. What did you accomplish when you did this if you did? I finished a crocheted afgan, put on a dessert buffet for a convention at my work... I mean I made all the goodies too. It was awesome.. three buffet tables of desserts...did the decorations etc..I baked for four days... cheesecake, cookies, brownies and bars...even a pie section. Bad Repot Card Grades?

I am 15 years old, just finished my freshman year. And well, my grades have been ad for awhile. And also been hiding my grades. What went wrong with my oysters? How do I get the breading to stick?

Use a deep fryer AND and use an oil made to fry with, such as peanut oil. A deep fryer will get the oil at the proper temperature and not allow the oysters to touch bottom as they will using a frying pan method. If you do stick with the pan method, make sure you are using the proper oil and allow the oil to become hot enough to cook the oysters without making them stick. Also, I would double or even triple dunk the oysters in egg and flour so they will have a nice thick breading.

Wow, what a tough situation to be in. I think this is a situation best dealt with by parents. He has parents and so do you, and autism or not, it is a huge responsibility to take on a pet, let alone a bird that could live for years. What should I do about a Student loan I co-signed that's going to default in 8 days?

I mistakingly co-signed a Chase Student loan for a friend about 3 years ago, not knowing what the terms were, having been mislead thinking I would have nothing to do with paying them back. I realize now that the co-signer is as responsible as the benefactor of the student loan. He has not payed on the loan (he promised me he would consolidate after he graduated), and now Chase Bank is coming after me for payment. They said it would default the 31st of this month if they did not receive payment. They have been calling me everyday, sending letters for collection of payment, and I haven't responded except once or twice to tell them it's not my loan, and I am not going to pay. I told them he forged my name, because I hadn't approved of the $20000 he took out. All I did was say he could use my name and address (not knowing what co-signing meant). Now it is up to 26,000 and ruining my credit. Late fees, interest, and no payments have been made. This guy is unavailable, and when I contacted him via Facebook, he said he would "try and take care of it." I know he won't do anything about it, so what should I do? Im out of a job and have NO money to pay this. Plus, I have my own loans on hold as it is. Someone please help!!!

You should be able to get into a decent college. Apply for a wide array of colleges from Private to Large State Universities, smaller Private and public colleges as well. If you apply and visit 4 or 5 campuses, you can get a good idea of what kind of school will fit you. College is more of a fit than just "what's best." Elsewise, everyone would go to Harvard. Some people would rather a smaller college like Swarthmore. (which is just as respected) Others like State universities. (especially taking into account loan debt, some professions should never go to private colleges)

I recently took a bank teller job b/c I REALLY needed the money and felt like it was a good entry level position and that having studied Accounting it would make that job easier (SO WRONG about that one) and that it might boost my resume and help me get into Accounting field. Well that plan fell flat as I was let go today from my position as a teller due to cash countdown errors. So my question is does this mean or is it an inkling that Accounting may not be a good field for me to work in at all?

Granted, I don't have any kids, but I can answer for myself. When I was a child, my father was an active member of the NRA, and taught rifling and shotgun at a Boy Scout Camp. Even at an extremely young age my father drilled in my and my brother's head the importance of gun safety and to treat all firearms as if it was loaded. Didn't matter if the magazine was out and the chamber cleared and open, it was still to be considered a loaded firearm. I went to the doctor and the nurse said your blood pressure is 80/50. I have felt weak for the last few weeks. But no one seems alarmed about it? When she turns 3 she is going into a private Christian preschool at a cost of about $5000 a year. Then you have to consider if, as parents, you decide to foot the bill for college...Lord knows what that cost will be in 18 years! If you can afford 5 kids I say go for it! When i was younger, i used to love dancing around with a set of curling tongs in front of the mirror pretending to be a popstar. Today, I have been playing with my 6 year old and we got her karaoke machine out (which i asked someone to buy her for Christmas) and have had a fab time screeching down the mike and dancing around like loonies. I think it is really important for her not to be self concious and she has belted a few songs out. Question for parents of bilingual children?

Although I was born in the US, I spoke Greek until I was almost 4. We also continued to speak mostly Greek in our home. So I am fluent in both languages without a hint of an accent in either language. I married a man who isn't Greek. I try my best to speak to my kids in Greek as much as possible, but I do slack off when not around family or Greek speaking people. I tend to say things in both languages. my 5.5 yr old daughter has a very good vocabulary and understands most of it. She chooses to respond in English at the moment. My 2.5 yr old son, also understands and has a decent vocabulary. Just like I label everything in ping while we play, I also say things in Greek. In the car, we play I Spy, but we do it in Greek. Music is another big help. I can sing, write, read and speak fluently in both languages. I read picture books to them when they were tiny, also saying the Greek equivalent of everything in English. I even dream in both. If I get very, very flustered, I might begin to forget an English word here or there and begin to think more in Greek, but that doesn't happen often. As long as my kids keep hearing the words and are involved in the cultural aspects of it, they will grow into it as they get older.
