What would society be like if werewolves were real?

In modern age? Well, as far as I know, werewolves don't require any special dietary treatment, so (depending on how you set up your werewolves, of course), I'd say the lunar activity habit of turning into a wolf or wolf-like creature would be their only problem. So, depending on how nice you make your society, you should add in various degrees of racism-like treatment (names, etc), and find a solution for how to deal with their once a month activity (such as mandated lock up and possible satellite tracking so that none could escape the mandatory lock up [like if they were homeless or whatnot]).
