Ionization Equation help!?

How do I know if a compound when dissolved in water will ionize or not? I need to figure out how Barium Hydroxide, Benzene(C6H6), Nitric Acid, Dimethyl Formamide (CH3)2CONH2, and Sulfuric Acid, dissolve in water and whether or not they ionize.
