How safe are your kids around firearms??

Granted, I don't have any kids, but I can answer for myself. When I was a child, my father was an active member of the NRA, and taught rifling and shotgun at a Boy Scout Camp. Even at an extremely young age my father drilled in my and my brother's head the importance of gun safety and to treat all firearms as if it was loaded. Didn't matter if the magazine was out and the chamber cleared and open, it was still to be considered a loaded firearm. I fully intend to teach my children when I have some the same principles of gun safety as I have several rifles and pistols.
