What’s the problem with the term African American?

Many Americans just love to dressed their bigotry and call it [Anti PC]. What's the problem with the word African attached to the black identity in America. There nothing negative about the word African or African American. Whether your from the Caribbean, North or South America (Brazil) your an African decent. Your lineage started by slavery(if not) its from Africa. Blacks never originated in the western hemisphere. You don’t have to live in africa to be african decent and we all have different and unique culture. African Americans never despised whites for their Irish heritage or telling them to stop celebrating their culture, plus many whites haven’t traveled or lived in Ireland and Europe. Beside if your white and born in Africa your still British, Dutch, English or some other ethnicity of the white race and that means your still European and you did not originated their, your forefathers invaded that country and that's a known fact.
